“ Simple place, but they absolutely nail the basics. The congee is smooth, silky, and packed with flavour — the kind that feels comforting without being overly heavy. The fried fritters are the real standout for me — crispy on the outside, light and airy inside, and not greasy at all. Perfect to pair with the congee. Fried noodles are solid too, nicely done and not overly oily. The rice noodle rolls are great as well, freshly made with plenty of variations to choose from. No frills, just really well-executed comfort food that I go back whenever we are in that area. ”
“ Okay food, not the best and nothing special. Service was a bit meh but I expected that at these restaurants. It was cheap and lots of variety to choose from. Service was fast. I got the fish congee, a bbq pork rice paper roll and a cold soy milk. All tasted average, edible but not something I would crave to go back to. Would not recommend the cold soy milk though, it’s drinkable but feel it was mass produced, not freshly made. No soy bean taste. Bbq pork tasted like overnight pork . Passable. ”

“ I went here as a foreigner/English speaker at 6am. I was a bit confused about how to order but we worked it out. It was sort of funny. The congee was soooo good!! The menu is in English but the staff didn’t seem to speak English. But you’ll work it out. Price is amazing ”
“ The perfect authentic Hong Kong congee experience! I had Chicken Congee and asked for extra Fresh Ginger. Delicious! As congee goes, this was wonderful. Big bowl for $35HKD / $6.29CAD. Very thick and flavourful. Air conditioner on c-c-cold only criticism. Speedy polite service, atmosphere to spare hahaha, shared table. Easily accessible by MTR, tram, bus or on foot in my case. The noodles looked great too. I’ll gladly return. ”
